PSU TPMP1470 2 amp buck regulator

This board offers a 2 amp buck (step-down) point-of-load switch-mode regulator.

Features:

4. 2 amp output capability (with adequate heatsinking)

OUTPUT VOLTAGE RANGE=1.2  to 15VDC

N.B. The EN line should be driven from an open collector, open-drain

or switch closure to ground (low=disable).

N.B. UNIT IS NORMALLY SUPPLIED WITH R3 VALUES AS ABOVE.

FOR VARIABLE VOLTAGE, REMOVE R3 AND FIT EXTERNAL 200K

MULTI-TURN  PRESET (Bourns 3224W) BETWEEN

P4 PIN 3 AND P3 PIN 3

N.B. P1 PIN 2 CAN BE USED AS EXTRA 0V (THUS LOWER GROUND IMPEDANCE) AND MECHANICAL BONDING

WHEN THIS BOARD IS USED AS A 78XX RETROFIT/ENHANCEMENT. WE SUGGEST USING 16 OR 18 GAUGE BTCW..

THIS WILL ALSO ENHANCE THERMAL DISSIPATION SOMEWHAT.
