Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days or more have elapsed since your purchase, we unfortunately do not offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We retain discretion regarding whether to refund or replace goods…we replace goods if they are in stock and if the returned item is found to be “not of merchantable quality” per the UK sale of goods act. If goods are found to have been misused we neither refund nor replace.

If the goods have been damaged as the result of an honest mistake, we may, at our discretion, offer a discount on a replacement (good will) purchase. we may, also at our discretion, offer suitable advice intended to prevent you damaging another such item.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer (unless we are the manufacturer).

Authorisation

Before sending an item back to us, you will need a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number. Obtain an RMA number by asking us via email. In the email tell us as much as you can about what the Issue is and as much other information as you can. Your returned package must be clearly marked with an RMA number, else it will not be accepted by us from the shipper.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of the above and still have not received your refund,, please contact us at sales@coastelectronics.co.uk

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@coastelectronics.co.uk and ship your item back to us.

You will be responsible for paying shipping costs when returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will not be included in your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item valued at more than £50/€70/$75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
